Beyond clinical practice
About
Dr. Omenge serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Aga Khan University, Nairobi. He founded the AMPATH Cervical Cancer Prevention Program, which has screened close to 180,000 women across western Kenya, and developed Kenya's first clinical fellowship in gynaecologic oncology.
He holds a PhD from the University of Antwerp, a fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology from Moi University and the University of Toronto, and an MMED and MBChB from the University of Nairobi.
