Dr. Elkanah Omenge Orang'o
Consultant obstetrician, gynaecologist, and gynaecologic oncologist with over two decades of clinical experience. He sees patients at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, and is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care for women at every stage of life.
Dr. Omenge serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Aga Khan University. He is the founder and director of the AMPATH Cervical Cancer Prevention Program, the largest of its kind in Kenya, which has screened close to 180,000 women across 15 clinics in western Kenya. He developed Kenya's first clinical fellowship in gynaecologic oncology and has trained a generation of specialists now serving across the country.
He has authored over a hundred peer-reviewed publications and led research programs supported by the NIH, Merck Foundation, and Eli Lilly Foundation, among others.
